Christmas Bay

This morning Layla and myself went for a wholesome walk at Christmas bay beach and discovered all sorts of treasures that once served a bigger purpose in the ocean’s ecosystem. After the heavy rains and flood warnings the shore line has heaps of washed up broken shells that scatter as far as they eye can see. You can see they once had such beauty and life to them. So I decided to give this odd shell a rebearth and bring it back to life by creating this organic piece that reminds me of just how powerful and majestic the ocean really is.
